Six languages are installed (English, German, French, Chinese,Spanish and Japanese). Translation into other local languages can also be performed by thecustomer. Compared to standard office computers, industrial computers providemuch higher levels of ruggedness and reliability as well as muchlonger product life-cycles. In an emergency the computer hardware can quickly be exchanged anda stored image of the hard drive re-installed, minimizing systemdowntime. The software's modular structure allows it to be expanded at anytime and adapted to new testing requirements. It consists of several individual components, including thespecimen database, process control, device drivers and optionalextra components.
